Toast’s Mission

Team Toast is dedicated to giving overlooked, special-needs, and disabled animals the love, care, and second chances they deserve. Our goal is to reach as many Underdogs as possible. Follow us as we put Toast’s BIG DREAMS into action.

A Message to Our Supporters,

When Toast posted his very first TikTok video, his family never imagined he would become an internet sensation. His goal was simple: to brighten at least one person’s day with his sleepy self. One smile quickly turned into thousands, and thousands into millions. Before long, Toast was snoozing his way into hearts and homes all around the world.

Through his growing platform, families of special needs and disabled dogs began reaching out and sharing their stories. These incredible animals, alongside Toast, are what Team Toast calls The Underdogs, the underloved, underappreciated, and often overlooked pets who deserve the same chance at love and care as any other.

The story that changed everything was Rupert, an Underdog from Canada born with a spinal deformity affecting both of her hind legs. This deformity made even routine procedures much more involved causing vet bills to stack up. With Toast’s help, Ruperts family started a TikTok and launched a GoFundMe, raising over $25,000 to cover a CT scan, spay surgery, and even a double amputation that gave Rupert the best quality of life possible. This was only made possible because of YOU, our incredible supporters, our Team Toast. Rupert’s journey opened our eyes to the power of Toast’s platform and the real impact it could have. From that moment on, Toast’s mission for the Underdogs was born.

Now, Toast’s biggest dream is to create Team Underdogs, a foundation dedicated to finding, supporting, and celebrating special needs and disabled animals everywhere. Our vision is to build an online network where Underdogs like Toast and Rupert can share their stories, raise awareness, and rally support for animals in critical need. This is where we call on you, Team Toast. You are the driving force behind this mission—the ones who make incredible stories like Rupert’s possible. By continuing to advocate, educate, and support animals in need, you keep Toast’s mission alive and ensure that every Underdog gets a chance.

We are still at the beginning of this journey, but we want to grow it with you. As we expand this page, build our team, and learn along the way, we invite you to stand with us. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for believing in the cause, and welcome to Team Toast.
